Do you need to make a decision today?

To recieve Christ as your personal Savior?

The Bible says all persons are sinners. They Chose to go their own way and do their own thing, disobeying and ignoring GOD. Sin seperates people from a holy GOD. This seperation prevents you from having fellowship with GOD now and ultimately leads to eternal seperation fom him in Hell. You can not save yourself no matter how good you try ti be, and there's nothing you can do to earn GOD's salvation. But God loves evry person he created and he wants to have fellowship with them. God sent his son Jesus to remove the sin barrier. The death on the cross of Jesus Christ, God's son' removed the sin barrier between his creation and GOD. Jesus died for your sins and mine, taking your and my punishment we deserve on himself. God did for you in Jesus Christ what you could not do for your self. You can recieve Christ today by having faith in him. Faith is trusting in What Jesus did for you, dieing on the cross, rather then trusting in your own efforts to be right with GOD. Faith is complete reliance that GOD will do what he says. It involves Repentance or geninue sorrow for sin and a complete turn around of the life your were living. You must follow GOD and serve him now. You can receive Jesus Christ today. Ask him to come into your heart and  tell God you are truely sorrow for the sin in you. Allow GOD to lead your life now and put your full faith in him.

                                  To follow Christ in Baptism?

Jesus commanded those who follow him and have recieved him as Savior to be baptized as he was baptized. Baptism is a act of obedience. It is a picture of showing others what has taken place in your life. Going under water in immersion shows that you are dead and burried to your old life of sin and self centeredness. Raising up out of the water shows you are raised to a new life of living for GOD,no longer under the power of sin. Baptism does not save you it is used as a symbol of your salvation.

                   To join Laramie Street Baptist?

You need to be actively serving the LORD with GOD's people.    If you do not  have a church home we invite you to come to Laramie Street. To join Laramie street baptist Church we recieve members three ways.

1) by baptism after your profession of faith in Christ Jesus.
2) By transfer of membership from a approved Baptist Church
3) On your statement and profession that you have recieved Christ as savior and have had immersion baptism after you were saved.

To renew your commitment to Christ Jesus?

Believers sometimes stray away from the LORDin life style and action and attitudes. If GOD is calling you to draw closer to him, do it today. You can do this where you sit. You may want to make it public by going to a church in front of believers. God calls all people to publically proclaim him as your savior.
